Aberdour fears as village's only GP surgery faces closure

VILLAGERS in Aberdour could face a three hour round bus trip to see a doctor after GPs insisted they want to close its surgery.
Inverkeithing Medical Group has applied to Fife NHS Board for permission to stop the daily morning surgeries it operates in a former shop in Shore Road.
But the move would leave the village's 2250-strong population without a medical practice.

ASSURANCES have been given that plans to provide selected police services in Aberdour from the Post Office won't have an adverse affect on the local community.
